Bad Breath is one problem that all of us deal with some time or the other. If a person has bad breath, it is so bad that it is considered to be humiliating and socially unacceptable, even if you have a piece of spinach stuck to your teeth. The origins of bad breath are primarily because of dental cavities, gum disease, poor oral hygiene, coated tongue, and many more. Here are five ways to battle bad breath. 

1. Warm Water and Salt

A saline solution rise can prevent the buildup of infectious bacteria in the mouth or throat. Warm salt water prevents alkalization due to the slight acidity which increases the growth of microbes that causes bad breath. 

2. Cinnamon Chewing Sticks

Cinnamon is known to have microbal action and it is also proved to be effective against bacteria that causes oral infection. Cinnamon is also known to have digestive and respiratory benefits. Cinnamon chewing sticks also have fiber that helps with the microbial diversity in the mouth. 

3. Green Tea

A number of research have indicated that green tea increases the growth of malodor because of its antibacterial and deodorant action. By drinking 3-5 cups of green tea per day, it decreases the stench in your mouth. 

4. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is known to have antifungal and antibacterial properties and it is also shown to be effective as chlorhexidine mouthwash at reducing plaque. Aloe Vera mouth wash can also combat bad breath. 

5. Keep Yourself Hydrated 

If you keep yourself hydrated, it maintains the saliva flow and keep your mouth moist and that stops bacterial growth. Also, if you cut down on the consumption of coffee, black tea, and alcohol, it also decreases bad breath.
